Julissa Guajardo
Born and raised in Houston TX, Julissa Guajardo began doing scripted home videos before entering Cy-Ranch's Audio/Video Production Class, where they were able to receive the Adobe Certified Associate in Video Editing using Premiere Pro in 2015 and begin producing, directing, and editing narrative shorts.

After graduating, Guajardo has pursued two degrees from Lone Star College, an Associate of Arts and Associate of Applied Science in Video & Post-Production. All the while helping build out the branding, marketing, and serving tacos at their family's restaurant, as well as taking on a variety of gigs that expanded on their creative process, leadership, and communication.

Now, Guajardo works at Lone Star College Cy-Fair as their Multimedia Coordinator creating promotional and instructional media for their Professional Development department. They are also the co-founder of the Houston Film Scene, an organization dedicated to producing and promoting films/shorts written and directed by people of color, women, and LGBTQIA+ individuals by embracing diversity and inclusivity in the film industry.
